As is traditional by now, we’re going to be at a few conventions and fairs with our own booth this spring and because we’d very much like you to be there as well, we thought it would be good to let you know about the schedule in advance. We’re kinda clever that way. ;-)
Hamburger Tactica, Northern Germany (25 – 26 February 2012)
We won’t be there ourselves in the strict sense of the word, but our friends from the TTS Hamburg are going to set up and run a big Freebooter booth there with the support from our new deckhand Christian/Chulo Bolu. There will be demo games on a fantastically built pirate city table, run by our Freebooter Friends Thade, Meinert and Chris.
Björn and Oliver from TTS will have the whole current Freebooter range at their booth for you to spend your doubloons on, and we are trying to create a special Tactica goodie as you read this.
Salute in London, UK (21 April 2012)
Once a year we travel to the motherland of the world’s most famous pirates (ooh-arrr!), to bring our own brand of piratey madness to good old Blighty. BYOR.
RPC in Cologne, Western Fringe of Central Germany (5 – 6 May 2012)
Since this is the physically closest event to our home berth, the majority of the Freebooter crew will be present, having drawn their traditional daily ration of bubbly. Play the game, look at the shiny, chat to the makers, have a choc. Arrr!

Sneak Peek AMA 009
Preview AMA 009 Greens
No, this is not the announcement of a new release yet, but a surreptitious little preview, sneakily nicked off Werner’s desk (well, if you can call it surreptitious and sneaky when he’s the one taking the photos).
Next to some half-finished greens (which we’re not going to show you quite yet – nyah, nyah, nyah!), there was a fully-fledged sculpt of our Amazon mantis warrior Macati (AMA009), which we’re proud to present here. And didn’t she turn out gorgeous?
Unfortunately, we can’t give you a release date yet, so you’ll have to be content with these pics for the time being. Cruel, we know, but we are called Freebooter Miniatures after all and pirate is as pirate does. Arr!

The second of the Amazons’ leaders: Yolcameh!
In order to provide a splendid start for the new year, we rolled up our sleeves, gave the fateing casting machine a few good whacks with the spanner and cast and cast until she couldnae take any more, cap’n. The result: Yolcameh, the more outgoing of the Amazons’ leaders is finally ready to grace your tables and bang clothskin heads together!
