Barco rose from his seat in a single smooth movement, swiped his hat off his head and let them have a look at his ruined face. 

Barco Malcaduco is a Pirate leader, maybe the most famous of them all. He was maimed a while ago and wears a blunderbus instead of his arm bed. A really fearsome man.
