We have lots of new products to show you at Spiel Essen from 23 to 26 October. You can find us in Hall 1, Stand A113.

This year’s Spiel fair is very special because we are celebrating 15 years of Freebooter’s Fate! Everyone who makes a purchase at our stand will receive a 15% voucher for our online shop as a thank you.

This year’s limited edition miniature is a self-portrait of Capt’n Klocke. Limited to 1,000 highly detailed resin figures.

Captain Klocke can be hired by anyone except the Amazons and Shadows. Since the captain also has a totally sinister, dark side, there is also a shadow version of him. The best rule is, of course, ‘My game, my rules’. This allows him to steal a special rule from his opponent and use it himself, heh heh.

Our tenth Tales of Longfall expansion, ‘Das Verlorene Tal’, and the Mercenaries themed crew box will also be released at the game.

Some of the monsters you may encounter on your adventure are: Dodo of Doom, Raptor and Escorbuta. Escorbuta is also one of the terrifying final bosses!

And then the Captain got carried away – there are two new Borstis coming to the game: Kratzborsti and Halloween Borsti. The other Borstis are also included – and by the way, the Festive roast is not a Borsti 😉

Ascending Fate

We still don’t know when the goods will reach us. Dock workers in Rotterdam are currently on strike. That’s why Ascending Fate is not available at Spiel Essen.

Despite preparations for the Spiel in Essen and the imminent delivery of Ascending Fate, we have two great new products for you.

Spiel Essen

Everything is coming together for us in October. Preparations for the fair and the eagerly awaited delivery of Ascending Fate.

The former are going great. You can find us in Hall 1, Stand A113. We have some great new products with us.

Among other things, our Captain Klocke finally has his own figure – a self-portrait and a limited edition at that!

Ascending Fate

We are waiting for the container ship to finally dock in Hamburg. We are ready to deliver Ascending Fate before the Spiel in Essen. If we succeed, we will have it with us at the fair. If not… We will keep you informed here at Gamefound updates.

The new products are available immediately and will be dispatched from October 2nd.

We are in the midst of preparations for the Spiel in Essen in October and for the delivery of Ascending Fate.

Nevertheless, we have three new products for you next week: Grieving Soul and Flying Fist for the Tianyu, as well as a new model of the Master Harlequina for the Brotherhood.

The Pledge Manager will be open until August 17.

Today we have a slightly more detailed update!

• In two days, on 17 August, the Pledge Manager will close!
• You can adjust, change or modify your pledges, or even make a new pledge.
• Shipping costs! Anyone who has not yet paid for shipping should do so as soon as possible.
• Any delay will also delay the shipping of the affected pledges.
• The good news is that we can keep all prices stable – even though there have been some price increases over the course of the year – especially for shipping costs.

We plan to release Ascending Fate in November or December 2025.*

Of course, after we have delivered your pledges.

However, not all items will be available immediately upon official release. Initially, the following will be released:

We have 5 new products to offer you! Alma, Serrado and Snakeeye as new characters. In addition, there are now 2 great Krautcovers: Tales from a Forest Moon and A Tale of Grimdark.

Alma

She is a special markswoman of the pirates who can disarm her opponents with well-aimed shots. Even if the target is in a cluster!

Serrado

A good imperial marksman who can spread fear and terror with his blunderbuss. He also has a unique retinue.

Snakeeye

A cunning Tianyu specialist with Bribery, Cunning and, depending on the balance, Inner Eye.

production is in full swing and will soon be finished. If everything goes as planned, we will receive the goods at the end of August and be able to start delivery in September.

Therefore an appeal to all those who have not yet paid the shipping costs – so, do it now!

The Pledge Manager will be open until 17 August. Then it will close and the bargains here on Gamefound will be over. As you may have noticed, we had to increase the prices at Freebooter Miniatures in spring – and this applies to the retail prices of Ascending Fate.
