To Dan
A tragic accident gave birth to the An Dan. A British-Welsh-Irish generation ship with thousands of settlers had set off full of hope at the beginning of the great wave of emigration to found a new colony on one of the three possible moons of Gliese 667 C.
They were never to reach their destination – they went off course and crashed on an unknown planet. It was only decades later that this tragic accident became a certainty. Tragically, due to the technology used at the time, it was not possible to launch investigations or even rescue missions – the distances were too long. So the settlers were declared lost and forgotten.
But many settlers had survived the crash. However, none of the digital devices or memories on board – they had all been destroyed and deleted. Whatever had caused this, they had to make do with what little they could salvage from the wreckage. Over time, they forgot their origins and developed a way of life based on the Celtic peoples of antiquity. How they got their name An Dán has been lost over the centuries.

Attention! Although their almost Stone Age appearance suggests an uncivilized race, they appear to have highly developed camouflage and combat technology. Their sudden appearance on the playing field is particularly treacherous due to their mobile teleportation chambers. The opponents never know when they will appear at their backs. Unfortunately, they also don’t know one hundred percent whether it will work at all. This technology is too new and too unreliable – so far.
The slingers shoot highly charged artifact shards that shatter into thousands of small fragments when they hit the target and can therefore injure even more enemies.
The fog hunters are masters of camouflage and use it to appear out of nowhere, attack with their bows and disappear again.
The moonwalkers lure their opponents into cleverly laid traps, which they explode around the unsuspecting.
Edana
Despite our kinship with the Arvingar, we have nothing in common with these pirates other than a distant origin. Yes, they are humans. But many pirates are human. And the Arvingar differ from them only in that they share a culture and an origin. They see themselves as descendants of Lifthrasir and place archaic customs and barbaric culture at the center of their being. They may be credited with placing great value on respectable behavior, but that does not excuse a lack of hygiene, nor does it excuse abuses against the Interstellar Commission.
The Arvingar follow an outdated religion and old gods, mourning a time when ships did not traverse space but seas on planets, hence the tendency to use wood in their ships. I don’t need to explain to you how inefficient such an approach is.
