What do I need to get started with Ascending Fate?
To play Ascending Fate, all you need is a buddy (m/f/d), the 2 player starter box (alternatively 2 starter boxes, game cards and game material) and your game table
All you need to begin with can be found on these pages (apart from the table and the mate – that’s very much a “bring-yer-own” situation).
Which faction?
To make it easier for you to choose a faction, we have categorized the individual factions by difficulty level based on their play style and game mechanics.
The more complex the crew is to handle, the higher the difficulty level.
There are 2 categories in total:
For beginners
The factions are easy to command and are particularly suitable for beginners
Advanced
Due to their style of play, the factions require a practiced hand to successfully assert themselves on the playing field
And then what?
After your first games with the basic box or the starter boxes, you can expand your factions as you wish.
